Basic Axe Smithing Class

June 26 to 27, 2026

You will learn from Master Blacksmith Robb Martin.

Students will forge and heat treat a mono-steel axe and drift an opening for a shaped handle made of wood.

You will be provided with all the tools and safety equipment required to attend the class. Please wear steel-toe footwear and cotton clothing. You will also be required to sign our waiver before class begins.

Students are required to have basic blacksmithing experience for this class, either with THAK or elsewhere. Must be at least 16+ to attend.

$700.00 CAD + HST

The course runs from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm each day.
