Intermediate Blacksmithing – Production Tool Making
March 23, 2018 – March 24, 2018
The ability to make your own tools is perhaps the single most defining advantage of blacksmiths over other ancient crafts.
Students will make dyes/jigs for anvil, power hammer and vise to increase productivity and consistency from Master Blacksmith, Robb Martin (aka – THAK).
Learn how to make blacksmithing tools that you will create and take home. Tools created are used to make intricate work on a production scale level. This course will demonstrate the creation and use of blacksmithing concepts that will increase your productivity and consistency.
You will be provided with all tools and safety equipment required to attend the class. Please wear steel-toe footwear and cotton clothing. You will also be required to sign our waiver before class begins.
