Advanced Blacksmithing Class – Fireplace Tools

As with all blacksmithing projects, the possibilities are limitless.  This a great opportunity for people looking to hone their skill with clear guidance from THAK while making a fireplace set they take home.

Learn to make a fireplace tool set that will include tongs. poker, shovel and broom with rack from Master Blacksmith, Robb Martin (aka – THAK).  

Note:  In this class students will be making a rack to hang their tools and not a stand.  

Learn practical applications to creating blacksmith hardware related functional tools. You will create the basics of functional metal art that will open new doors of creation that can be taken home and applied to your projects going forward.

You will be provided with all tools and safety equipment required to attend the class. Please wear steel-toe footwear and cotton clothing. You will also be required to sign our waiver before class begins.

Students need to have a practical understanding of blacksmithing before taking this class. Must be at least 16+ to attend.

Prerequisite: Basic Blacksmithing Course

All materials and refreshments included.

$700.00 CAD + HST

16 hours Intensive study. Course runs 8:30 am to 4:30 pm both days.
