Muscular Breastplates

First introduced in bronze by those cunningly artistic Ancient Greeks and later copied by those ruthlessly overly ambitious Romans, the muscular breastplate has left a definite impression on the history of armour.  To me it’s an obvious crossover of armour to sculpture, form to function. I have made tons of these over the years.  Here are a few of the more interesting examples.
