Arched Doors with Draft Grille

The glass doors I make are not airtight but do of course restrict air intake into the firebox. Depending on the fireplaces design and construction it may not have sufficient air intake to support a good hot fire with the doors closed. Sliding louvers allow variable control of air into the fire giving better heat control and fire banking capabilities. Also the louver grills look really cool and are fun to use…It’s a guy thing.
